This month has been crazy for me so far. I finished my 3 year University degree at the end of August, and have since then been focused on finally getting my art career going.
These first couple of weeks I've been concentrating on marketing and social media, learning about SEO and putting my artworks on as many sites as I can. It all takes time, so I need to find the balance between marketing and creating.
Today, after writing my first blog post, I will make a start on a new illustration, part of my Year in Japan series. I'm going to do 12 illustrations all up for the series, one for each month of the year.
I have a lot of work to do, but I'm not doing anything else for now. Sometimes you just have to take the risk and go for what you really want in life. It's time for me to focus, and make it happen!
